Team Objectives

Provide data needed for understanding the storm dynamics important to coastal impacts through targeted observations of storm surge, inundation, rain and winds.

Air-deployed sensors for flexibility in data gathering relative to modeling needs

Mixed-layer data to provide vertical structure and aid in analysis of dynamics

Simultaneous offshore wave and sea level pressure measurements

Scientific analysis and interpretation of the data

Data-model comparison
