Project Scientists Deploy Wave Buoys from NRL P3

As part of the NHCI response to Hurricane Lee, Dr. Martha Schonau of Scripps Institution of Oceanography and Dr. John Warner of USGS flew on the NRL VXS-1 P3 on September 14th, 2023, to deploy wave buoys in a rapid and targeted response effort.
